 Virginia Tech Shootings

Throughout this website you will sense my anger about the injustices of the day.

Today, I have no anger. I have nothing but deep sadness. I am at a loss as to why or how these things happen.

I feel deeply for the families and friends of anyone involved in these shootings. I know that all of our prayers and words do not even come close to touching your pain. The country mourns with you. Political party does not matter today. Today we are all Americans. We all care for you. God bless you in this terrible time. Maybe something like this can bring us together as Americans. We need to see the signs of something like this coming. Maybe it could have been prevented. Who knows? These are the unanswerable challenges of our times.

I am very, very sad today. Just when you think you have it all figured out, something like this comes in, like another stinging slap in the face, to remind us we are never safe from the insanity that our fellow humans can bring. All we can do is grow from it. Let us learn to love each other. Let us learn to respect and care for each other. Not just your friends but loners like Cho. Maybe if he felt some sort of humanity from the world around him, maybe he would no resort to this kind of action.

Again, my heart goes out to anyone affected by this tradgedy. God is with you now. I am so sorry for your losses.

I don't know what else to say.

Just say no to ignorance
