"We're not trying to down grade anyone else, hate anyone else, but we're trying to promote the family, family values, the Lord's way."

Okay first of all what message is it to get a "friend of the family" award and then state gays are against the Lord?

Message LOUD AND CLEAR:

1. Gays are not "friends of the family." So gays must be an "enemy of the family."

2. Family values "the Lord's way". So gays are "against the Lord.

This is from a professional football coach. Kids look up to this guy.

Message to Coach Dungy. What you just did completely downgrades gay Americans. What you just said will propagate hate against gay Americans. You might not be "trying" to do that. But the fact is that is what you just did.
