I just found out about the homophobe commercial during the super bowl.

Two men were working on a car and one had a snickers. He put it in his mouth and the other man wanted it. He ate the other end until their lips met in the middle. They freaked out and yelled, "quick do something manly."

Message from Mars inc. to America: Gay men are not "manly."

I foundout that Mars inc. candy is owned by the bigoted billionaire activist Republican family by the name of (you guessed it) Mars.

Ya think they have something to gain keeping the cavemen in office? They are exactly who made the most from the tax breaks given by Yabba. They decided to spend 2.5 million dollars to make the thought of a kiss between men disgusting. Isn't that special? So gays don't need any hate crimes legislation or "special rights" now do they? Gays aren't a target are they? Had this been a commercial about interracial couples kissing and then freaking out like it was gross how would it look? How was this any different?

Problem number one: They were straight men!!!!!! Of course it felt weird and they freaked. So would a gay man being forced to kiss a woman. Or a gay woman having to kiss a man. So Mars candy... Are gay women not feminine? Have you not seen the L-word? Have you not seen queer as folk? Have you not been to a gay gym. Do you not know one gay man? Sorry, but a lot of gay men could kick some serious straight ass.

Problem number two: This gives the impression there is something wrong with 2 men kissing. Every professional organization in the world, over 8 million scientists state homosexuals are a normal variation of humanity. So the rich billionaires that own Mars inc. think it's better to keep the hate going because it benefits them rather than understand what 8 million scientist have stated is true. Rather than worry about the fallout of prejudice and hate. Rather than care about gay teenagers that will see the commercial and hate themselves and kill themselves because they are not "manly."

I can not think of a time in the past when a corporation has attacked a minority and thought nothing of it. How do you think young gay men felt as they watched that with their friends? This company actually thinks that it is acceptable to perpetuate the false message that gays are weak. Gays are bad. Gays are not "manly."

The Truth:

Gay men have more masculinity, class, "manliness", courage, strength, and integrity in their pinky then these A-holes who made this commercial. Is it "manly" to perpetuate stereotypes when that will cause violence and prejudice to this group?

Is it "manly" to use a minority of citizens in this country who right now are a political target?

Is it "manly" to incite violence against fellow Americans?

Or is it "cave-manly?"

Is it "cave-manly" to refuse to evolve? Is it "cave-manly" to think the same thing that generations have thought since the beginning of time? Had the commercial been true to life.. Had the commercial not been a big fat lie perpetuating hate. Then the two men should have said, "quick do something cave-manly. Do something ignorant. Do something that unevolved mediocrities that can't think out of the box would do..

Now that would have been funny. That would have been the truth.

Mars inc. candy company should be embarrassed. Explain how that is different than a hate group. Hate is hate. Stereotypes are stereotypes. Prejudice is prejudice no matter how you slice it. Your company is an embarrassment to America. The commercial said a lot more about rich republican activist families (Edward Forrest worth 10 Billion dollars) then it did about gay men. The aires to the Mars fortune need to spend a little more money on class. They certainly don't have any.     2.5 million dollars? How many homeless could you have helped with that money?

Hopefully enough heterosexuals will be totally disgusted with the whole thing. Mars inc. should be boycotted. From what I am reading on the internet heterosexuals are horrified. Most of the country has actually evolved from being cavemen. Most of the country knows that stereotyping and prejudice is wrong. When it is done by a corporation it is disgusting.

You don't have to swear or put down the "faggots" to get a laugh. You need to get out of your jacked up bubble and realize how many heterosexuals you offended with this commercial. The days of bullying gay Americans are numbered. The joke is really on you. Nov. 2006 should have been a warning. Society can only evolve. Your cheap shots will not work in a society that is educated and know people that are gay.

America, pay close attention to what they do. This was not just a little joke of a commercial for sales. If you think for one minute that Snickers commercial had nothing to do with politics: Rove, Bush, and a family worth 10 Billion dollars, then you need to go to the kitchen, open the cabinets, pull down the coffee and take a huge whiff..

Google "Gays as Political Pawn" you will get millions of hits. ....Least valuable piece...Expendable...

These selfish a-holes think of only one thing...Themselves.

2008 is time to unite once again. They have shown how far they will go.This country is proud and strong and we need to heal and love each other. Enough is enough.
