"Nappy Headed Hos"
It doesn't get any better than this......
I'm sure you've all heard about this one by now... Don Imus (talk radio host CBS, CNBC) said something rude and idiotic.(Imagine that?) Don Imus is a conservative caveman Republican who called the incredible female African American Rutgers' basketball players "NAPPY HEADED HOS" on his radio show...
Then Roll Call executive editor Morton M. Kondracke added, "They do live in a culture where a 'ho' is a commonly tossed-around term ... by the rap music industry, by black men, largely."
Am I hearing this right? Yabba "Dubya" Dooooooo. Party of the caveman comen at ya......
They? Who exactly are they? Women basketball players? Black women? I love these quotes because it demonstrates the backward caveman thinking that has dominated our society for years. They? These old white cavemen just see every black person as the same individual. They can't see through the color. They never give them a chance. All can they see is black and every black person is a "nappy headed ho." Every black person "lives in a culture where a 'ho' is a commonly tossed-around term ... by the rap music industry, by black men, largely."
This is coming from educated men with big important jobs...
It blows me away.
I'm really sorry that the Rutgers' women's basketball team had to be the center of this controversy, but I think in the long run it will do some good. Everyone is an uproar over this and I'm thinking, "Why now?" This garbage has gone on since the beginning of time. You don't think Rush Limbaugh has said something comparable to this? Why now? The F-word last month......Now "Nappy Headed Hos."
Why do people care all of a sudden?
Oh.... I get it......
The Internet......Now every single word is recorded and replayed at the click of a mouse......OK it's a whole new ball game now...These fools have been pullen this garbage for years but usually only idiots like them listen in. Now we can google the transcript and it comes up.....Now everything that is said on TV and radio is on the Internet. Now people that have actually evolved are hearing this stuff.
The really funny thing? The cavemen that are getting caught with their pants down probably don't even own a computer. Or if they do, they haven't quite got the concept of "Google" yet... You know behind closed doors they are saying, "What the heck is going on?" "No one had a problem with me before?" These fools surround themselves with themselves and they get the false sense that everyone in the country thinks like them.
This is going to be really fun for me. I can finally show how bad it really is. People can finally see the unevolved caveman thinking and how deep it is in the conservative party.
Why is all the latest controversy all coming out the mouths of Republicans? Don Imus? Ann Coulter, General Peter Pace? Not one racist or homophobic word out of the Democrats. Wonder what that's about?
When the Republicans use the gays (the "save marriage" amendments) to get the African American vote maybe the African Americans need to rethink if they are sincere?
November 2008 is still so far away...So many quotes still to be said. Keep checking back as I will blog my opinion on all of them.....
This is Don Imus' apology:
"Want to take a moment to apologize for an insensitive and ill-conceived remark we made the other morning regarding the Rutgers women's basketball team.
It was completely inappropriate, and we can understand why people were offended. Our characterization was thoughtless and stupid, and we are sorry."
Did anyone else notice he doesn't start the sentence with I? I want to take a moment..
Did anyone else notice he says we? The remark we made? We can understand.. Our characterization was thoughtless...and we are sorry.
I am confused here. I learned in English class that "we" and "our" meant more than one person. Did someone else say "Nappy Headed Hos" at the same time?
This guy is a wus.....Don, take responsibility for what you did. Apologize from you not we and own up to it...Only one person called those women "Nappy Headed Hos" In English, when the pronoun is singular it is I.
"I am sorry about the remark that I made. I can understand why people were offended. My characterization was thoughtless and stupid, and I am sorry.
So typical caveman Republican.. .... How many times do we hear "MISTAKES WERE MADE.." Always trying to throw the blame.......
Get a spine and own up to it...unless of course you are not really sorry......
Unless of course you are just saying that to keep your job...
Here are some other tidbits of maturity and evolution coming from the "missing link" himself....
"Lord, we continue to pray for the Godfather of Soul
That by Martin Luther King Day someone will stick him in a hole. Lord, hear our prayer.
Lord, we pray that Barbara Walters tells Rosie O'Donuts to take a hike
Before she gets her dusty ? kicked by that vicious bull dyke. Lord, hear our prayer.
Lord, we pray that Rush Limbaugh and his wannabes apologize for our war dead
And that someone slips a noose over Rush's chicken hawk head bejesus. Lord, hear our prayer."
He described Hillary Clinton (http://www.hillaryclinton.com/about/) as "a Zamboni, a carpet bagging, closet lesbo (who's) perhaps the next president. That is, unless the jug head mulatto with the Jew-hating name (Barack Obama http://www.barackobama.com/) and virtually no experience overtakes her."
CBS and CNBC.............. Yabba "Dubya" Dooooooooo
