The only thing that gay people have in common is their orientation. Look at how diverse the "straight community" is. See how foreign that sounds? No one has ever used the term "straight community". You don't need to. You are not attacked as a group. Gays can be from wealthy backgrounds or the projects. Gays can be white, black, yellow, or brown. Gays can be masculine or feminine in either gender. Gays can have any possible combinations of any trait that straight people have. Gay people are teachers and lawyers and doctors and clergy. Gay people are good tax paying citizens that live next door. Wake up and take off the blinders. There is no reason what so ever to give gay people a different set of laws than straight people. It is wrong it needs to stop.
